Our client is one of Scotland''s leading names in the hospitality sector. Their brand and group has grown along with their reputation as an award winning business delivering quality and service through a multi site portfolio across Scotland.

Please make an application promptly if you are a good match for this role due to high levels of interest.With further site openings planned, they are now looking for a Quantity Surveyor to join their property projects division and work closely to enable the growth and development plans.The successful candidate will be responsible for managing all cost and commercial aspects of projects incuding new site openings, refurbs and fit-outs.The role is both office based and will require some site visits around Scotland, they also offer hybrid working.Key ResponsibilitiesOversee the commercial management of multiple projects from inception to completionPrepare cost estimates, budgets, and feasibility studiesManage tender processes, including contractor and supplier negotiationsMonitor project budgets, cash flows, and change controlCarry out value engineering to optimise quality and costPrepare and negotiate contracts, interim payments, and final accountsCollaborate closely with the internal property team, external consultants, and contractorsEnsure that all work complies with legal and regulatory standardsProvide monthly cost reports and forecasting to the leadership teamKey RequirementsDegree-qualified in Quantity Surveying or related disciplineIdeally a proven track record in the hospitality sector (hotels, restaurants, bars, retail)Experience delivering refits, refurbishments, and new buildsStrong knowledge of construction contracts (JCT, Design and Build, etc.)Ability to manage multiple projects at different stagesComfortable working independently in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environmentProficient in cost management software and Microsoft ExcelHigh attention to detail and accuracyFull UK driving licence and willingness to travel to sites as neededDesirableMRICSFamiliarity with sustainable and energy-efficient design principlesExperience working client-side or within a design and build contractorWhat We OfferCompetitive salaryHybrid working flexibilityGenerous staff perks including discountsSupportive and forward-thinking team ..... full job details .....
