Quantity Surveyor - Social Housing Refurbishments

Our client is seeking an experienced and driven Quantity Surveyor to join their team and cover Social Housing refurbishment contracts across the South Yorkshire / East Midlands area. This role is pivotal in managing costs effectively, maintaining quality, ensuing projects are delivered on time and within budget.

Description

• Prepare and manage accurate project budgets and cost plans
• Liaise closely with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams
• Manage the tendering and procurement process
• Monitor and control project variations and valuations
• Prepare interim and final accounts
• Provide cost advice and financial reporting throughout project life cycles
• Ensure compliance with health, safety and environmental standards

Profile

• Degree qualified or equivalent in Quantity Surveying or Construction Management
• Proven experience in housing refurbishment, preferably in the social housing sector
• Strong commercial awareness and negotiation skills
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
• A proactive and solutions-driven approach
• Full UK Driving License
