Quantity Surveyor

Due to an increase in upcoming projects, there is now a need for a Quantity Surveyor to join this highly successful and forward-thinking organisation.

We are looking for a-Quantity Surveyor-who wants to work in a diverse role-where no two days are the same.

As the-Quantity Surveyor,-you will-provide the delivery of both planned and reactive FM maintenance services.

The-Quantity Surveyor,-will be responsible for:

• Collate monthly cost data to support the Commercial Manager with the production of CVRs.
• Manage budget control and forecasting for allocated projects, providing monthly updates.
• Ensure correct contract administration of allocated projects in line with contract requirements.
• Oversee cash management and cash flow production.
• Prepare forecasting documentation.
• Manage subcontractor accounts, including measurement of works, variations, liability trackers, payment notices, and final accounts.
• Attend progress meetings and contribute to weekly commercial meetings.
• Conduct site visits and support client meetings alongside the Commercial Manager.-
• Mentor junior staff and ensure work is carried out in line with internal processes and governance.-

To be successful for this Quantity Surveyor role you must have:

• Minimum 2:2 degree (or equivalent) in Quantity Surveying.
• 3+ years'' experience working at Quantity Surveyor level.
• Excellent understanding of Contract Law, with NEC suite experience preferred.
• Strong commercial acumen and financial awareness.-
• Willingness to undertake site visits.
• Full UK driving licence.
