Quantity Surveyor

Position: Quantity Surveyor Location: Maidstone area, Kent Contract type: Permanent Sector: Building / main contractor Salary: £ very competitive + comprehensive package Target start date: October / November 2026 The role: Due to major project awards across Kent the need has arisen to recruit for 2 Quantity Surveyors to join the commercial team heading up Kent''s construction contracts. Quantity Surveyor will take the lead on a wide range of construction project within this multi-disciplinary UK top 20 Tier 1 main contractor you will be working closely with the pre-construction, design, delivery and wider commercial teams. As an experienced Quantity Surveyor you will manage the commercial delivery of projects from tender through to final account, taking responsibility for commercial control, subcontract packages, risk, reporting and contractual matters. Key responsibilities include: Manage all commercial aspects from tender through to final account. Produce and issue commercial/contractual notices. Manage subcontract work packages. Carry out interim assessments and manage subsequent change. Lead commercial risk management, identifying and mitigating risks. Produce and present detailed monthly reports and CVRs. Produce and maintain detailed Cost Plans. Track and forecast expenditure. Maintain detailed subcontractor liability schedules. Manage procurement and subcontract negotiations. Monitor project financial performance. Work closely with project and operational teams. ..... full job details .....
