Quantity Surveyor / Site Surveyor - Major UK EV Project

Overview

We are working with a well-established Tier 1 contractor, recognised for delivering large-scale construction and civil engineering projects across the UK. They are now seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor / Site Surveyor to join the team on one of the country''s largest EV battery developments - a £4bn project based in Somerset.The Role

As a Quantity Surveyor / Site Surveyor, you will play a key role in supporting the successful commercial delivery of this landmark project. You will be responsible for:Managing costs, contracts, and valuations.Assisting with procurement and subcontractor management.Supporting reporting and forecasting to ensure budget control.Working closely with site teams to monitor progress and resolve issues.Contributing to the smooth running of both site and office operations.Requirements

Previous experience as a Quantity Surveyor or Site Surveyor within construction or civil engineering.Strong commercial awareness with excellent attention to detail.Ability to manage multiple stakeholders in a fast-paced environment.Comfortable with a site/office split - 3 days per week at the head office in Harrow and 2 days per week on-site in Somerset.Strong communication and organisational skills.What\''s on Offer
