Quantity Surveyor / Senior Quantity Surveyor Devonport Docks Location: Devonport, Plymouth Contract Type: Permanent (Contract considered for the right candidate) About the Role Carmichael UK are seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor or Senior Quantity Surveyor to join a major infrastructure and defence project at Devonport Docks in Plymouth. This is a unique opportunity to work on one of the UK s most complex and high-profile programmes within a secure and high-specification environment. As a key member of the commercial team, you ll play a central role in cost control, contract management, and financial reporting on a large-scale civil engineering and construction project. Key Responsibilities Manage and administer NEC contracts and ensure compliance with project governance Prepare and review cost plans, valuations, and change control documentation Conduct cost forecasting, risk management, and value engineering exercises Support procurement and subcontractor management Produce detailed commercial reports and liaise with client and project stakeholders Identify opportunities for cost optimisation and efficiency improvements Support commercial strategy and mentor junior surveyors where appropriate About You Essential: Degree-qualified (or equivalent) in Quantity Surveying, Commercial Management, or a related ..... full job details .....
