Quantity Surveyor

A Quantity Surveyor is needed immediately by a civil engineering contractor with a head office in Croydon and live sites throughout Kent and Surrey. The successful Quantity Surveyor will earn up to 90,000 and take commercial ownership of groundworks schemes from start to finish. What the Quantity Surveyor will do Travel to sites across Kent and Surrey to price upcoming and ongoing works Run the commercial side of groundworks projects, from handover to final account Manage JCT contracts day to day, covering variations, valuations and notices Produce monthly valuations, CVRs and cash flow forecasts Carry out site measurement and agree valuations with the client Control subcontractor orders, payments and final accounts Report on costs and commercial risk to senior management What the Quantity Surveyor will bring A strong track record as a Quantity Surveyor in groundworks or civils Experience on residential groundworks schemes (highly desirable) Hands-on JCT contract experience Confidence pricing works on site The ability to juggle multiple sites across Kent and Surrey A relevant degree or HNC (desirable) A full UK driving licence If you are an experienced Quantity Surveyor with a groundworks background, apply now or contact Abbie Burnett at RTL Group for a confidential conversation. ..... full job details .....
