Quantity SurveyorLocation: Essex / M11 Corridor (1 Position) and Western Corridor (1 Position) Salary: £70,000 - £100,000 per annum (Subject to Experience) Type: Full-Time Permanent Working Arrangement: Hybrid / Remote Working AvailableAbout the RoleOur client is seeking two experienced Quantity Surveyors to join a well-established and growing civil engineering and groundworks contractor. These positions will be responsible for overseeing projects across either the Essex and M11 Corridor region or the Western Corridor, providing commercial support from project inception through to final account settlement.This is an excellent opportunity for commercially astute Quantity Surveyors with a strong background in civil engineering, infrastructure, and groundworks projects who are looking to join a forward-thinking business offering a flexible hybrid working arrangement.Key Responsibilities Managing the commercial aspects of multiple civil engineering and groundworks projects.Preparation, submission, and negotiation of interim valuations and final accounts.Monitoring project costs and ensuring budgets are maintained throughout the project lifecycle.Identifying and managing commercial risks and opportunities.Measuring works and preparing accurate cost forecasts.Procurement and management of subcontractor packages.Reviewing subcontractor applications, variations, and final accounts.Producing monthly cost value reconciliation reports.Managing change control processes and contractual ..... full job details .....
