About youIf you re an experienced Quantity Surveyor with a background in fit out and refurbishment, this could be a really interesting opportunity if you re looking for something with a bit more ownership.The business is building its presence in Scotland and is looking for a QS who can play an important part in that growth. You ll be joining a small team initially, so you won t simply be one of several Quantity Surveyors doing the same job. You ll have plenty of visibility and the opportunity to make a genuine contribution as the operation develops.The work will be predominantly high end commercial and office fit out, so you ll need to understand the commercial demands of delivering quality projects in this market.You ll be comfortable taking responsibility for your own projects and working closely with the operational team from the early stages through to final account.Your experienceYou ll need solid experience as a Quantity Surveyor within fit out and refurbishment.Experience across commercial interiors, office fit out or high end fit out would be particularly relevant.You ll understand procurement, subcontractor packages, cost planning, valuations, variations, CVRs and final accounts.
