Quantity Surveyor Civils and UtilitiesLocation: Barnsley, South Yorkshire (office-based with flexibility to work from home)Salary: £45,000 £65,000 per annumBenefits: Company vehicle or car allowance, 26 days holiday, healthcare, annual bonus, pensionAbout the OpportunityWe are working with a well-established and growing civil engineering contractor operating across infrastructure, utilities, substations and renewable energy projects.Due to continued growth and a strong project pipeline, they are now looking to appoint an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join their commercial team based in Barnsley.This is a full-time, primarily office-based position with flexibility to work from home, offering the opportunity to play a key role in the commercial delivery of multiple projects within a supportive and forward-thinking business.Key ResponsibilitiesManage the commercial performance of multiple civils, utilities and infrastructure projectsPrepare and manage budgets, forecasts and cost reportingAdminister subcontractor packages including procurement, payments and final accountsIdentify and manage commercial risks and opportunitiesPrepare and submit valuations, applications for payment and variationsEnsure accurate cost tracking across all stages of project deliveryWork closely with operational teams to drive commercial performanceMaintain strong client relationships and attend commercial meetingsSupport final account negotiations and dispute resolution where ..... full job details .....
