Quantity Surveyor

The Role We are currently recruiting for an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join an established MandE contractor based in Chancery Lane, London. This is a fantastic opportunity for a commercially focused Quantity Surveyor with extensive ductwork experience to join a growing business and play an important role in managing the commercial performance of a range of ductwork and mechanical projects. The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of the ductwork industry and be confident managing projects from tender stage through to final account. Key Responsibilities Managing the commercial aspects of ductwork and mechanical projects. Preparing and reviewing valuations, applications for payment and final accounts. Managing variations, change control and additional works. Reviewing subcontractor accounts and payments. Preparing cost forecasts and monitoring project expenditure. Reviewing contracts, specifications and drawings. Producing accurate cost estimates and pricing works where required. Identifying commercial risks and opportunities throughout the project lifecycle. Managing and maintaining good commercial relationships with clients, subcontractors and suppliers. Negotiating with subcontractors and suppliers. Assisting with tender submissions and reviewing tender returns. Ensuring projects are delivered in line with agreed budgets and commercial objectives.
