This is an excellent opportunity for a Quantity Surveyor to join a growing main contractor with a strong pipeline of secured work. As the business continues to grow, they are looking for someone who wants to take ownership of projects, work closely with the Directors and play a key role in the continued development of the commercial team.

This growing main contractor delivers a varied range of projects across the South, including high-end motor retail, healthcare, industrial, commercial and refurbishment projects. With a strong level of repeat and referral work, the business has continued to grow steadily and has ambitious plans to increase its turnover over the coming years.
As Quantity Surveyor, you will take ownership of the commercial management of live projects, covering procurement, subcontractor packages, valuations, payments, cashflow and cost control. You will work closely with Contracts Managers, site teams and subcontractors, while also having direct exposure to the Directors and senior members of the business.

This role would suit a Quantity Surveyor with main contracting experience who enjoys variety, responsibility and being involved across the full commercial process. Experience across commercial, industrial, motor retail, healthcare, or similar projects would be beneficial, with an understanding of JCT contracts being essential.

The Role:

* Managing commercial delivery across live construction projects
* Overseeing procurement, subcontractor packages, valuations, payments and cashflow
* Working closely with Contracts Managers, site teams and subcontractors

The Person:

* Quantity Surveying experience within main contracting
* Strong understanding of JCT contracts and commercial management
* Able to manage projects autonomously and take ownership
* Driven, hardworking and keen to progress within a growing business
