Location: Barnet, Hertfordshire
Salary: £50,000 – £85,000 DOE
Working Pattern: Full-time
 
The Opportunity
An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join a specialist cladding and facades contractor based in Barnet.
This is a key commercial role offering full involvement across the project lifecycle, from pre-construction through to final account. You will be responsible for managing the commercial delivery of complex cladding packages across multiple construction projects, ensuring strong cost control, accurate reporting, and effective commercial management.
Working closely with project managers, site teams, and clients, you will play a pivotal role in safeguarding margins and supporting successful project delivery in a fast-paced specialist environment.

What They’re Looking For
Extensive experience in cladding and facades (essential)
Background with a cladding subcontractor or main contractor managing façade packages
Strong understanding of cladding systems, materials, and installation methods
Experience in cost control, reporting, and commercial management
Ability to manage variations, valuations, and subcontractor accounts
Strong contractual awareness and negotiation skills
Ability to operate as a Quantity Surveyor or Senior Quantity Surveyor
