Quantity Surveyor

We are working in partnership with a valued client to recruit an experienced Quantity Surveyor to support the delivery of the a major redevelopment project in Rotheram This is a temporary opportunity, initially for three months, with a high likelihood of extension based on project needs.This role will see the successful candidate providing expert quantity surveying support, with responsibilities that closely align with those of a Project Manager, but with additional specialist requirements.Key Responsibilities:Deliver a comprehensive quantity surveying service from project inception to completion, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery.Manage and monitor project budgets and oversee construction frameworks for multi-million-pound contracts.Provide expert advice on quantity surveying and framework matters to both internal teams and external clients.Ensure compliance with cost controls, performance standards, and client/Council requirements.Collaborate with consultants, technical teams, and stakeholders to ensure a coordinated and efficient service.Support the development of external client relationships and manage the commercial aspects of framework delivery.Essential Skills and Experience:Proven experience in quantity surveying and framework management.Strong understanding of construction-related legal and statutory regulations.Skilled in contract documentation, contractor selection, and procurement strategy.Demonstrated success in managing construction frameworks and ..... full job details .....
