Quantity Surveyor - InfrastructureRole OverviewThe Quantity Surveyor is responsible for driving financial performance, managing risk, and overseeing commercial governance on complex infrastructure projects. Working closely with operational site teams, clients, and Joint Venture/Alliance partners, this role ensures rigorous cost control, accurate forecasting, and effective contract management under standard civil engineering contracts.Key ResponsibilitiesFinancial Performance and GovernanceProduce accurate monthly Cost Value Reconciliations (CVRs), cash flow forecasts, and commercial plans across projects and business units.Utilize Earned Value Management (EVM) and detailed cost analysis to track project profitability and expenditure.Adhere to and refine internal governance, including JV and Alliance commercial processes where applicable.Optimize inter-company trading and cross-entity financial alignment.Contract and Risk ManagementAdminister main contracts-principally NEC and ICE forms-identifying commercial risks and mitigating financial exposure.Prepare, submit, and agree applications for payment, variations, claims, and compensation events with clients and third parties.Ensure full compliance with relevant statutory regulations and Construction Law.Supply Chain and ProcurementManage full-cycle subcontractor procurement, including package tendering, negotiation, and contract awards under compliant terms.Oversee the subcontract measurement and control cycle, chair regular ..... full job details .....
