Job Opportunity: Quantity Surveyor and Senior Quantity Surveyors (x2) Location: Waterloo, London (with site travel) Salary: £65,000 - £75,000 per annum Contract Type: Permanent or Temp-to-Perm (Long-term) About the Role An established principal contractor is expanding its commercial team and seeking one Quantity Surveyor (QS) and two Senior Quantity Surveyors (SQS) for long-term positions based out of Waterloo. We are open to candidates seeking either direct Permanent employment or a Temp-to-Perm arrangement. You will take full commercial ownership of allocated schemes to protect profit margins, manage project cash flow, and control costs throughout the project lifecycle. Experience in Facade Remediation, Fire Remediation, or both is strongly preferred. Key Responsibilities Commercial and Financial Control: Produce, maintain, and issue CVRs and Cost to Complete (CTC) forecasts, track gross margins, and manage project cash flow. Procurement: Create procurement schedules, appoint subcontractors, negotiate variations, and conduct pre-start meetings. Valuations and Cash Flow: Value work on site, raise client invoices on time, and process subcontractor valuations efficiently. Risk and Reporting: Assess contractual and commercial risks, produce monthly updates, and ensure compliance with SHE and health and safety standards.
