Our client is a leading Tier 1 contractor with a strong reputation for delivering high-value, complex infrastructure and construction projects across the UK. They are currently delivering a flagship major project in the East Midlands and are seeking a talented Quantity Surveyor to join their commercial team.

Quantity Surveyor roles and responsibilities
* Manage project costs from inception through to final account, ensuring value for money and financial efficiency.
* Prepare, review, and negotiate subcontractor packages, valuations, and variations.
* Monitor project budgets, forecasts, and cash flow, providing regular commercial reports to senior management.

Quantity Surveyor requirements
* Proven experience working as a Quantity Surveyor, ideally with a Tier 1 contractor or on major projects.
* Strong knowledge of standard forms of contract (e.g., NEC, JCT).
* Excellent commercial awareness, negotiation skills, and attention to detail.
