Quantity Surveyor

PSR Solutions are working with an established client within the Civil Engineering Sector to recruit a Quantity Surveyor to Join their Commercial team on a permanent basis. This role with be project and site based, with their office based in Manchester and projects across the North West.Quantity Surveyor Roles and ResponsibilitiesProvision of accurate and timely cost and value reporting at both project and business unit levels to inform Group reportingCost management and project forecastingDrafting and updating a monthly CVR, cost and commercial plansResponsibility for subcontract procurement, negotiation and financial accountingEffectively manage contract and subcontract agreements, primarily IChemE and NEC formsAbility to interrogate and challenge records, reports and cost dataMitigate commercial risk, identify and realise commercial opportunitiesWork with the wider project team to forecast predicted expenditure and cash recovery to ensure that both are in line with business unit expectationQuantity Surveyor RequirementsBSc in Quantity Surveying or similar commercial related courseNEC Contract experience is EssentialDemonstrable experience in monthly forecasting and cost analysisPrevious experience in the construction industryExcellent communication, numeric and computer literacy skills, proficient in Microsoft OfficeValid driving licenceQuantity Surveyor BenefitsSalary - 45,000 - 60,000 DOEBased in Manchester, North WestCompany Car or Car Allowance25 days annual leave in ..... full job details .....
