Position: Quantity Surveyor - Infrastructure/EnergyLocation: Home-based (with weekly travel to Marston Green + occasional site visits - Travel expenses provided)Contract: 6 months (likely extension)Day Rate: Circa* £525/day (via Umbrella)The Opportunity:We''re supporting a major UK infrastructure programme at the heart of the energy transition, delivering large-scale electricity transmission upgrades across England and Wales.This is a key Quantity Surveyor position within a strategic infrastructure team, where you will take ownership of significant work packages across complex, high-value construction projects.You will act as the commercial lead for your package, ensuring projects are delivered efficiently, compliantly, and within budget.Key responsibilities include:Owning the commercial and contractual management of major construction packagesManaging costs, forecasts, and spend against budgetLeading on NEC4 contract administration (Options A, C, and E)Handling variations, compensation events, and payment processesProviding commercial challenge and ensuring projects remain financially controlledSupporting procurement activity and advising on contract strategyWorking closely with project delivery teams, contractors, and internal stakeholdersIdentifying and mitigating commercial risks, delays, and cost overrunsKey Requirements:Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor within construction projectsStrong working knowledge of NEC4 contracts (Options A, C and E)Experience owning ..... full job details .....
