Quantity Surveyor

Are you an experienced Quantity Surveyor with a background in highways and civil engineering? We are working with a leading infrastructure contractor that is looking to strengthen its commercial team with the appointment of a Highway Framework Quantity Surveyor.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established business delivering long-term highway maintenance, improvement, and infrastructure projects across major framework agreements.

The Role

As a Highway Framework Quantity Surveyor, you will play a key role in managing the commercial performance of multiple highway projects from inception through to final account. Working closely with operational teams, clients, and subcontractors, you will ensure projects are delivered commercially while maintaining strong client relationships.

Key Responsibilities

• Managing the commercial aspects of highway framework contracts.
• Preparing cost plans, valuations, forecasts, and financial reports.
• Administering subcontract procurement, payments, and final accounts.
• Identifying commercial risks and opportunities throughout project delivery.
• Managing change control, compensation events, and contract variations.
• Supporting project managers with commercial advice and cost control.
• Producing accurate monthly CVRs and commercial reporting.
• Ensuring compliance with NEC contracts and company procedures.
• Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, supply chain partners, and internal stakeholders.
