Quantity Surveyor - Painting and Decorating Job reference Number: Area to be covered: National (typical projects from Leeds to Milton Keynes)Location: based commutable to Derby Remuneration: £40,000 - £50,000 Benefits: Company Car / Car allowance, Health, Comprehensive Benefits Package The role of Quantity Surveyor - Painting and Decorating will involve:Quantity Surveyor position dealing with a range of commercial painting and decorating projectsPrepare cost estimates, budgets, quotations, and tender submissions including labour, materials, prelims, and programme considerations Liaising with Site / Contract Managers to ensure each project is successfully running. Updating any changes to the agreed contract scopeBuilding strong working relationships with clients and subcontractorsWorking on up to 20 projects at one time, varying in size from £20k to £500kThe ideal applicant will be a Quantity Surveyor - Painting and Decorating with:Must have Quantity Surveying experience within one or more of the following; decorating, painting, dry lining, finishing, fit-out market sector Preferably coming from a sub-contractor background with commercial project experienceGood technical knowledge and good understanding of industry processes, materials and costsHighly organised with good attention to detailExcellent communication skills both written and verbally Computer literate (Microsoft Office) Full UK driving license Mitchell Maguire is a specialist Construction Recruitment Consultancy, ..... full job details .....
