Quantity Surveyor Basildon / Essex Permanent Competitive + Car/Car Allowance + Flexible Benefits Summary Freedom''s Network Services team are looking for an additional Quantity Surveyor to be based in Essex (Basildon). Reporting into the Commercial Manager, this role will support the business unit by managing the contractual and financial elements of projects undertaken within the Networks business. This includes electrical and civil frameworks and standalone projects. In addition, the role will include all other activities to enable successful PandL, cash flow and working capital management. Some of the key deliverables in this role will include: NEC3/4 and bespoke contract management of multiple contractsMeasurement and valuations of works for applications, variations and final accounts with both clients and suppliersIdentification and notification of Early Warnings and Compensation EventsEnsure all contracts, up and down supply chain, are fit for purposeProvide Cash Flow Forecasts CVR creation and managementEstablishment and chair of monthly project reviewsManaging the dispute and defects process with the Client and SubcontractorsAttend Client progress meetings Follow procedures for Client work approvalManage invoicing and debts Effective communication with all levels of personnel Supply chain managementProvide innovative ideas and continuous improvement What we''re looking for: Previous experience in a Quantity Surveyor or similar role - EssentialA well-developed ..... full job details .....
