Quantity Surveyor (New Build Housing)

GBR Recruitment are working in close partnership with a well established progressive new build housing developer recruiting for an experienced new build housing Quantity Surveyor (non chartered) to with managing multiple new build site budgets and costs, from the initial site inception stage right through to full build completion preparing accurate monthly site valuations (CVR''s) covering Leicestershire, Northamptonshire, Nottinghamshire and Lincolnshire areas. Overview of the Role: To assist with managing multiple sites from inception to completion Effectively assisting in the management of all site budgets and costs for multiple sites Assisting with the preparation of accurate monthly site valuations (CVR''s) Daily Duties: Weekly and fortnightly payments of direct and subcontractor labour only trades Analyse sub-contractor invoices/applications Monthly sub-contractor payments Keep Payment Record Sheets up-to-date following completion of each payment run Prepare monthly cost / value reconciliations Prepare sub-contractor procurement tender list for sign off by QSM and Operations /Production Directors Prepare tender documents/packs and send out to the relevant sub-contractors Analyse tenders upon return Undertake tender analysis by evaluating tenders and comparing the prices against each other, ..... full job details .....
