Quantity Surveyor - NEC

A contract opportunity for a Quantity Surveyor to support a Tier One Consultancy with ongoing commercial management services to their client, Network Rail. Specifically, you will be supporting the Route Services Commercial and Procurement team.-

The position will be based in an office in Birmingham for 3 days a week, with the other 2 days working from home.-

The assignment will be for-9 months duration, with potential extension, and the day rate is--355 per day INSIDE IR35

On a day to day basis, you will:

• Manage contract administrative controls and monitoring requirements (using Oracle)
• Support internal and external assurance and governance requirements for extensions, variations and novation of contracts
• Support regulatory requirements associated with managing contracts, to ensure compliance with legislation
• Support on contractual issues and negotiations
• Complete audits of supplier obligations to ensure they''re being carried out in accordance with contractual requirements

To be successful in this assignment, it is essential that you:

• Hold a degree in Quantity Surveying-
• Have previous experience in working on Network Rail project, ideally in a client side role
• Have demonstrable experience in using Oracle and in administering NEC3/NEC4 contracts
