Quantity Surveyor

Our client, a leading firm in the water sector, is currently seeking a Quantity Surveyor to join their team on a permanent basis. This role involves providing commercial support to project teams, maintaining commercial information, and ensuring compliance with contractual requirements and the company''s objectives. You will engage with customer representatives and other third parties on commercial issues, including the agreement of variations, claims, and additional payments. Key Responsibilities:Ensure robust, accurate, and timely cost and value reporting at both project and business unit levelsEnsure accurate cash flow reporting takes placeCarry out cost management, including forecastingUpdate the monthly CVR, cost and commercial plansEnsure that internal commercial processes are adhered to across the business unitActively seek to improve processes and procedures Job Requirements:Essential:Experience in the utilities or construction industryDegree in Quantity Surveying (or equivalent)Familiarity with NEC forms of contract and understanding of Construction LawExperience in commercial management and procurement of subcontractorsKnowledge of monthly reporting and earned value analysisExperience in estimation and cost analysisExcellent communication, numeric, and computer literacy skillsOrganisation and time management skills, with the ability to work to tight deadlinesAbility to work effectively in a team and delegate, but also able to work on own initiativeDesirable:Member ..... full job details .....
