Quantity Surveyor

Our Civils specialist subcontractor client is seeking a Quantity Surveyor to join their Horton based team (near Heathrow) on a permanent basis supporting across all of their projects.Our client is delivering essential infrastructure and engineering projects across a range of sectors including specialist civils projects on Thames Water, HS2 and Southern Water to name a few. This is an excellent opportunity to play a key role in the successful commercial management of complex projects while contributing to the continued growth of the business.Reporting to the Commercial Manager, you will be responsible for managing costs, contracts, and commercial performance across multiple projects, ensuring profitability and value for both the business and end clients.OUR CLIENT MAY CONSIDER STRATFORD OR HORTON OFFICESKey ResponsibilitiesManage the commercial and contractual aspects of projects from inception through to final account.Prepare, review, and administer subcontract agreements and procurement packages.Undertake cost forecasting, budgeting, and financial reporting.Manage valuations, applications for payment, and variations.Assess and negotiate subcontractor accounts and final accounts.Monitor project costs and identify opportunities to maximise value and commercial performance.Prepare monthly cost reports, cash flow forecasts, and commercial reviews.Support project teams with contract administration and commercial advice.Identify and manage commercial risks and opportunities ..... full job details .....
