Quantity Surveyor

We are seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join a dynamic construction team delivering complex civil engineering and infrastructure projects. This is a key commercial role responsible for managing costs, contracts, and financial performance from project handover through to final account.Key ResponsibilitiesManage commercial delivery from project handover through to final account, ensuring effective control of budgets, costs, and progressConduct regular site visits, assess progress, value variations, and produce accurate commercial reportsManage all contractual and commercial obligations, including negotiations, settlements, and payment processesProcure, manage, and maintain relationships with subcontractors and supply chain partnersSupport estimating and bid activities, including strategy development, documentation, and client presentationsMaintain risk registers and contribute to proactive problem-solving across project teamsLead and support Assistant and Trainee Quantity Surveyors, providing mentoring and developmentEnsure compliance with Health and Safety standards and company proceduresAbout YouProven experience as a Quantity Surveyor within the construction or civil engineering sectorStrong understanding of commercial and contractual requirementsRelevant qualification (HNC/HND/Degree) or equivalent industry experienceExperience with valuations, variations, claims, and financial reportingKnowledge of construction methodologies such as MandE, steelwork, concrete, ..... full job details .....
