They''re open-minded on level - whether you''re an experienced QS who can run projects independently, or stepping into a QS role and want hands-on support from a strong Commercial Lead.This is an urgent hire, so ideally you''ll be available immediately or on short notice.The roleFull lifecycle commercial management across projectsOffice-based near Hitchin, with site visits across London / South EastExposure to a mix of projects - giving you breadth, not repetitionWork closely with delivery teams and senior leadershipWhat we''re looking for We care less about sector background and more about solid QS fundamentals. MandE experience helps, but is not essential. You''ll be able to demonstrate:Strong understanding of cost planning, budgeting and forecastingProven ability in valuations, variations and final accountsConfidence managing subcontractor procurement and commercial negotiationsExperience with various contract forms (e.g. JCT / NEC) and how they work in practiceAbility to identify risk early and protect marginClear, structured reporting and commercial communicationStrong attention to detail ..... full job details .....
