Are you an experienced Quantity Surveyor with a strong track record in industrial construction? Join a well-established main contractor delivering high-quality industrial units, logistics parks, and commercial builds across the South East.
We''re looking for a commercially driven QS to take ownership of key industrial projects within a thriving, tight-knit team. The role is based just 15 minutes north of the M25—ideal for professionals commuting from Hertfordshire, Essex, or North London.
 
�� What You''ll Be Doing:

• Managing all aspects of cost control and contract administration across new industrial build projects
• Working closely with clients, site teams, and subcontractors to ensure financial efficiency and project success
• Preparing and reviewing tender documents, bills of quantities, valuations, and final accounts
• Monitoring project budgets, forecasting costs, and managing variations
• Ensuring compliance with NEC or JCT contract terms
• Contributing to procurement strategies and supply chain management

• Minimum 5 years'' experience in Quantity Surveying, ideally within the industrial or commercial construction sector
• Proven background with main contractors or specialist industrial builders
• Strong working knowledge of JCT and/or NEC contracts
• Excellent negotiation, cost planning, and reporting skills
• Confident communicator with a proactive, solutions-focused approach
• Degree-qualified in Quantity Surveying or a related field (RICS/Chartered status desirable)

• £80,000-£90,000 base salary, depending on experience
