Quantity Surveyor

The Role We are recruiting for an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join a leading civil engineering and infrastructure contractor on a permanent basis. Working as part of the commercial team, you will be responsible for supporting the financial and contractual management of projects, ensuring effective cost control, accurate reporting and the successful recovery of project value. Key Responsibilities Manage project costs, budgets, forecasts and cash flow. Prepare monthly CVRs, cost plans and commercial reports. Monitor project financial performance, earned value and expenditure. Manage subcontract procurement, tendering, negotiations and accounts. Prepare applications for payment and manage variations, claims and additional payments. Review contract terms and identify commercial risks and opportunities. Ensure compliance with contractual requirements and internal commercial procedures. Work closely with project managers and site teams to support commercial performance. Liaise with clients, subcontractors, suppliers and other stakeholders. Support continuous improvement across commercial processes and cost management.
