Quantity Surveyor

Quantity Surveyor Linear Recruitment are partnering with an expanding main contractor specialising in drylining to the commercial sector to assist in placing a Quantity Surveyor for their team in Barnsley. Key Responsibilities Review and interpret client contracts, specifications, and tender documentation, identifying key commercial risks and obligations. Provide commercial and contractual advice to the drylining project teams. Lead or support negotiation of contract terms and conditions, ensuring alignment with company risk profile and policies. Working with the Head of Commercial to produce and agree payment terms / cash flows for all bids / successful projects, to ensure payment terms by project are favourable / suitable to PMLs forecasted cash flow at time of bid. Support the development of procurement and subcontract strategies, ensuring fair and transparent commercial terms. Attend meetings where necessary, to support the sales team on all projects contractually and commercially.
