Quantity Surveyor

Quantity Surveyor Location: London and South East (Hybrid/Site Based) Salary: Up to 60,000 + Car Allowance + Benefits An established and growing construction and development contractor is seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join its commercial team. With a strong pipeline of projects across the residential, education, healthcare, care and commercial sectors, this is an excellent opportunity to join a business that values collaboration, quality and long-term career development. The successful candidate will work alongside experienced project and commercial teams, managing the financial and contractual aspects of construction projects from pre-construction through to final account. Key responsibilities include: Managing project costs and budgets to ensure commercial success. Preparing cost plans, valuations, applications for payment and final accounts. Procuring subcontractors and managing tender processes. Negotiating subcontract agreements and assessing variations. Monitoring project expenditure and producing accurate cost forecasts. Identifying and managing commercial risks and opportunities. Administering subcontractor accounts and payments. Working closely with project managers, site teams and clients to achieve successful project delivery. Maintaining accurate commercial records and reporting throughout the project lifecycle.
