Quantity Surveyor

A great opportunity for a Quantity Surveyor is now available to join a Glasgow based Construction Company specialising Commercial Fit Outs. You will be joining a company who work on projects of all sizes within sectors such as Healthcare, Bars/ Restaurants, Offices, Hotels, Education and more. You will be joining an experienced team who work to the highest of standards ensuring repeat business.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare detailed cost estimates and budgets for construction projects.
• Monitor project costs throughout the construction process.
• Analyse tenders and negotiate contracts with suppliers and subcontractors.
• Conduct regular site visits.
• Maintain comprehensive records of all financial transactions.
• Prepare detailed reports on project costs, forecasts, and variances for senior management review.
• Identify potential risks related to costs and develop mitigation strategies proactively.

Experience Required:

• Proven Quantity Surveying experience with the Construction/ Fit Out sector.
• Minimum level of a HND in Quantity Surveying with at least 2 years working experience.
• Strong knowledge of cost control techniques and financial management practices in construction projects.

Salary:

• Up to -55K
