Candidate required: Quantity Surveyor Job Type: Permanent Start date: ASAP Industry: Construction Location: Ringwood, Dorset The role and about the client: ITS Construction Professionals South are working with an established construction business who are looking to appoint a Quantity Surveyor on a permanent basis. The business has a strong pipeline of work across the commercial, education and healthcare sectors, with a mixture of refurbishment and new-build projects. This is a great opportunity for an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join a well-established team and play a key role in the successful commercial delivery of future projects. You will be involved throughout the full project lifecycle, working closely with clients, consultants, subcontractors and the wider commercial and construction teams. Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Managing the commercial aspects of construction projects from pre-construction through to completion. Preparing and managing project budgets, forecasts and cost reports. Reviewing contract documents, drawings and specifications. Managing subcontractor procurement and tender processes. Obtaining, analysing and negotiating subcontractor and supplier quotations. Preparing and managing valuations, payments and applications. Monitoring project costs, variations and change control.
