Quantity Surveyor

A leading and well-regarded regional contractor is seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join its commercial team. Reporting to the Senior Quantity Surveyor / Commercial Manager, you will be responsible for the commercial management of allocated projects, helping to control costs, manage contractual obligations, maximise value and ensure successful financial outcomes from project commencement through to final account. This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to a varied portfolio of construction projects within an established and supportive team. Key Responsibilities Manage the day-to-day commercial activities of allocated projects, including cost control, forecasting, reporting and risk management. Prepare project budgets, cost/value reconciliations (CVRs), cash-flow forecasts and monthly commercial reports. Review contract documentation, identify commercial risks and entitlements, and ensure contractual notices and records are maintained. Prepare and submit applications for payment, variations and claims for loss and expense or prolongation. Manage subcontract procurement and administration, including tender comparisons, orders, valuations, variations and final accounts. Measure, value and agree works, variations and dayworks with clients, consultants, subcontractors and suppliers.
