Quantity Surveyor

Location: Plymouth (Lodge Allowence provided) Eligibility criteria: Many positions within the project are subject to national security clearance restrictions. This means that your eligibility for certain roles may be affected by your place of birth, nationality, current or former citizenship, and any residency you hold or have held. Due to the sensitive nature of the site, BPSS security clearance is required. Please note that this process can take up to 8 weeks. Key Responsibilities • Provide commercial input including financial and contractual performance forecasts to the management team. Help ensure that business targets and KPI s are met / exceeded. • Ensure cash flow is maximised including ensuring payments are made and received on time. • Preparation and review of monthly cost reports for area, together with review of results and consideration of trends with other contract team members • Forecasting and monitoring spend against approved Client budgets. • Physical measurement of works and agreement of same with client and subcontractors. • Agreement of certification and payment of subcontractor accounts - monitoring of such accounts against forecasts. • Implementation and compliance with the contract change control procedure and monitoring thereof including communications to client as appropriate. • Managing sub-contractors including sending out enquiries, collating prices, comparing with tender, negotiation, order placement, agreement of account and payment • To ..... full job details .....
