Quantity Surveyor - Housing

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Quantity Surveyor to join our clients growing team in The North West. You will play a key role in the commercial management of new build and refurbishment social housing projects, ensuring cost efficiency, value for money, and successful project delivery from inception through to completion.Client DetailsOur client is a well known residential developer committed to delivering high quality new build homes, with a strong focus on social and affordable housing. They are passionate about creating sustainable communities and improving lives through well designed, energy efficient homes.DescriptionManage all commercial aspects of new build social housing developmentsPrepare cost estimates, budgets, and financial reportsConduct procurement processes, including tendering and subcontractor selectionMonitor project costs and identify risks and opportunitiesManage subcontractor accounts, valuations, and final accountsWork closely with project managers, site teams, and external stakeholdersEnsure compliance with contractual requirements and industry regulationsSupport value engineering and cost-saving initiativesProfileProven experience as a Quantity Surveyor within residential construction, ideally social housingStrong knowledge of construction contracts and cost control processesExcellent negotiation and communication skillsAbility to manage multiple projects and meet deadlinesDegree qualified in Quantity Surveying or a related field (or ..... full job details .....
