Quantity Surveyor - Industrial / Steel Frame Projects Location: Tunbridge Wells, Kent Salary: £60,000 + Car AllowanceHill McGlynn Recruitment is pleased to be working with a respected main contractor with a growing portfolio of industrial and commercial steel frame projects across Kent and the South East. Our client is now seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join their expanding commercial team based in Tunbridge Wells. The Role This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially minded Quantity Surveyor to take ownership of key industrial schemes from procurement through to final account. Working closely with the project and site teams, you will be responsible for ensuring cost control, contract compliance, and successful project delivery within budget and timescales. Key Responsibilities Manage all commercial and contractual aspects of steel frame and industrial projects Prepare cost plans, valuations, and final accounts Procure and manage subcontractor packages Provide accurate financial reporting and forecasting to senior management Ensure compliance with company and client procedures and standards Work collaboratively with site and project teams to drive value and efficiency About You Minimum 3-5 years'' experience within a main contracting environment Strong background in industrial or steel frame construction preferred Excellent commercial, contractual, and communication skills Degree-qualified (BSc Quantity Surveying or equivalent) Proactive, organised, ..... full job details .....
