Quantity Surveyor - Fit OutLocation: Canterbury, KentSalary: £65,000 - £70,000 per annum + PackageSector: Construction / Fit OutEmployment Type: Full-time The Opportunity Hill McGlynn are currently working with an established construction and fit out contractor who are looking to appoint an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join their team, based from their Canterbury office. This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially focused Quantity Surveyor with a strong background in fit out projects to join an established business delivering projects across a varied client portfolio. You will take responsibility for the commercial management of projects, working closely with Project Managers, site teams, subcontractors and clients to ensure works are delivered within budget while protecting the commercial interests of the business. Previous Quantity Surveying experience within the fit out sector is required for this position. The Role As Quantity Surveyor, you will be responsible for the commercial and financial management of fit out projects from pre-construction through to completion and final account. Key responsibilities will include: Taking commercial responsibility for fit out projects from pre-construction through to final account. Preparing and managing project budgets, cost plans and forecasts. Managing subcontractor procurement, including tender enquiries, analysis and appointments.
