Quantity Surveyor - Highways

This multi-accredited and well-established contractor has a strong reputation for delivering major highways and infrastructure projects and offers a strong pipeline of work as well as excellent opportunities for career progression and professional development. As part of their continued growth, they are actively seeking a Quantity Surveyor to join their growing commercial team. This is a full-time permanent position based out of their Peterborough office with flexible and hybrid working. Your new roleAs a Quantity Surveyor, you will report to the Commercial Manager and take responsibility for the commercial performance of the project, ensuring robust cost control and value recovery. Key responsibilities will include: Managing project budgets, cost reporting and forecasting cost to completion Administering NEC contracts, including subcontract management and contractual correspondence Procuring subcontract packages and preparing tender documentation Managing variations and compensation events, including delay analysis and loss and expense claims Providing detailed cost analysis and maintaining transparent financial reporting Building and maintaining strong client relationships through regular engagement Liaising closely with site teams to support effective project delivery Leading or supporting value engineering activities Managing ..... full job details .....
