Due to continued growth and a significant project award, they are seeking an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to join their team on a major long-term scheme.Your new role:As Senior Quantity Surveyor, you will play a key role in the commercial management of a major heavy civils project. Based predominantly on-site, you will work closely with operational teams to ensure commercial objectives are achieved while maintaining strong client and subcontractor relationships.Key responsibilities include: Managing all commercial aspects of a major civils project from inception through to final account. Administering NEC contracts and ensuring contractual compliance throughout the project lifecycle. Preparing, submitting and agreeing interim valuations and applications for payment. Managing subcontract procurement, payments, variations and change control. Identifying, managing and mitigating commercial risks and opportunities. Producing accurate cost forecasts, CVRs and financial reports. Supporting project teams with commercial advice and contractual guidance.
