Quantity Surveyor

Your new company A leading infrastructure contractor delivering long-term projects across the utilities sector is seeking a Quantity Surveyor to join their commercial team. With a strong pipeline of secured work and projects running for several years, this is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established business offering both immediate contract work and a clear pathway into a permanent position.Your new role As Quantity Surveyor, you will be responsible for supporting the commercial management of a major infrastructure programme, working closely with operational teams to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.Key responsibilities will include:Managing subcontractor procurement, administration and account managementPreparing and reviewing applications for paymentValuing variations, compensation events and change control processesProducing cost reports, forecasts and commercial updatesSupporting contract administration and ensuring compliance with contractual requirementsWorking collaboratively with project managers, engineers and site teams to maximise commercial performanceAssisting with risk management and identifying opportunities for cost savings and value improvementThis is an immediate requirement offered on an initial contract basis with a transition into a permanent role after approximately 15 weeks.What you''ll need to succeed Degree or equivalent qualification in Quantity Surveying or a related commercial disciplinePrevious experience working ..... full job details .....
