Quantity SurveyorA well-established and highly regarded residential developer is looking to appoint a Quantity Surveyor to join its Commercial team, nr ChesterThis is an excellent opportunity to work on a range of high-quality residential developments, supporting the commercial delivery of projects from inception through to final account. The successful candidate will play a key role in cost control, subcontract management, valuations, forecasting and reporting, while working closely with operational and finance teams to ensure projects are delivered safely, efficiently and profitablyThe RoleScheduling and quantifying materials and labourManaging subcontractor accounts, payments and variationsProducing valuations, CVRs and cost-to-complete reportsMonitoring project budgets and reporting on cost movementAssisting with WIP and cashflow forecastingMaintaining commercial systems and project recordsAttending site meetings and carrying out regular site visitsSupporting the preparation and management of development budgetsEnsuring commercial procedures and processes are followed throughout project deliveryAbout YouMinimum 3 years'' experience in a Quantity Surveying roleStrong understanding of construction costs, budgets and forecastingStrong IT skills and commercial awarenessExcellent numerical, negotiation and organisational skillsAble to work independently and manage multiple prioritiesProfessional, motivated and ambitiousPackageA competitive salary and excellent benefits ..... full job details .....
