Quantity Surveyor

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Quantity Surveyor on behalf of a well-established specialist joinery contractor based in Hertfordshire. This is an excellent opportunity to join a reputable company delivering high-quality bespoke joinery and interior fit-out packages across a range of commercial and high-end projects. As Quantity Surveyor, you will be responsible for the commercial management of projects from pre-construction through to final account. You will work closely with project managers, clients, and subcontractors to ensure projects are delivered within budget while maintaining strong commercial control. Responsibilities of the Quantity Surveyor: Managing project costs from tender stage through to completion Preparing and submitting interim valuations and final accounts Identifying, pricing, and negotiating variations Producing cost reports and maintaining commercial control of projects Assisting with procurement of subcontractors and materials Liaising with clients, consultants, and internal project teams Requirements of the Quantity Surveyor: Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor within construction Experience working for a subcontractor or specialist contractor is desirable Joinery, fit-out or interiors experience would be advantageous Strong understanding of construction contracts and commercial processes Excellent communication and negotiation skills If you are interested in the Quantity Surveyor, please get in ..... full job details .....
