Quantity Surveyor

Quantity Surveyor Required in Dorking GVR Solutions are working with a growing specialist carpentry and joinery contractor based in Surrey who deliver high-quality packages across residential, commercial, education, healthcare and mixed-use developments throughout London and the South East. Due to continued growth and a strong pipeline of secured work, they are seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join their commercial team. This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious commercial professional looking to join a specialist contractor with a strong reputation and genuine opportunities for progression. Responsibilities of the Quantity Surveyor: Prepare, submit, and negotiate interim valuations and applications for payment. Monitor project costs, budgets, forecasts, and cash flow. Produce accurate cost value reconciliations (CVRs) on a monthly basis. Identify commercial risks and implement mitigation strategies. Manage project variations, change control processes, and compensation events. Prepare and agree final accounts with clients and main contractors. Review and administer contracts including JCT forms and bespoke subcontract agreements. Ensure contractual compliance and protect the company''s commercial position. Manage notices, extensions of time, loss and expense claims, and contractual correspondence where required.
