Quantity Surveyor - Water Infrastructure (South West Water Framework)Location: Taunton, SomersetSalary: £46,000 - £55,000 + £5,000 Travel Allowance + BenefitsSouth West Water''s long-term infrastructure framework is delivering a 5 year programme of upgrades across Somerset - and the contractor running it is looking for an experienced Quantity Surveyor to take commercial ownership of a varied portfolio of projects along the M5 corridor.This is a genuinely stable opportunity. The framework is secured, the pipeline of work is confirmed, and the business has an established team already delivering work across the region. As a key member of my clients commercial team, the Quantity Surveyor will be working across pipework installation, bulk earthworks, civils upgrades, and tank and processing equipment replacement - with the added responsibility of supporting and mentoring a Graduate QS.The Quantity Surveyor will manage the full commercial lifecycle across multiple concurrent projects, from tender through to final account, with a strong focus on NEC contract administration and proactive commercial management.Key responsibilities include:End-to-end commercial management of infrastructure projectsNEC contract administration, including change control and compensation event managementCost forecasting, budget control and commercial reportingProcurement and subcontractor managementCollaborating closely with operational teams to maximise commercial performanceMentoring and supporting a ..... full job details .....
