Quantity Surveyor - Water InfrastructureTaunton, Somerset 46,000 - 60,000 + 5,000 Car Allowance + PackageAn excellent opportunity has arisen for a Quantity Surveyor to join a leading infrastructure contractor delivering a major 5-year capital delivery programme for South West Water across Somerset.This role offers the chance to take commercial ownership of a varied portfolio of water infrastructure projects whilst working within a well-established and growing civil engineering business with a strong reputation in the utilities sector.Working closely with operational teams, the successful Quantity Surveyor will manage projects through the full commercial lifecycle - from procurement and subcontract management through to final account - with a strong emphasis on NEC contract administration, commercial performance, and client engagement.This is an ideal opportunity for a commercially driven QS who enjoys managing multiple schemes in a fast-paced environment and is looking to progress their career within a long-term framework.The RoleAs Quantity Surveyor, your responsibilities will include:Full commercial management of multiple infrastructure and capital works projectsAdministration of NEC contracts, including compensation events and change managementCost forecasting, CVR production, and financial reportingProcurement and management of subcontractorsSupporting operational teams to maximise project profitability and performanceBuilding and maintaining strong working relationships ..... full job details .....
