Quantity Surveyor - Freelance

Freelance Quantity Surveyor required for a ''home based'' role for initialyy a 3 month period.

You will be working on Fit-out and refurb projects with M&E elements so having experience and being familiar with M&E will be required.

• Managing the commercial aspects of the project from procurement through to final account
• Managing subcontractor procurement, tendering and package awards
• Preparing and managing subcontractor accounts, valuations and payments
• Monitoring project costs, budgets and commercial performance
• Managing variations, change control and compensation events
• Supporting the preparation of cost reports and commercial forecasts
• Working closely with the Project Manager and wider delivery team
• Managing commercial relationships with subcontractors and suppliers
• Supporting the resolution of contractual and commercial matters
• Contributing to the successful commercial delivery of the project

It is a home based role, with occasional visits required.- Initially for 3 months but strong possibility of being extended.
