We are seeking an experienced and motivated Quantity Surveyor to join our Facilities Management team based in Glasgow. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the commercial success of a fast-paced, multi-discipline FM environment, ensuring cost-effective delivery of services across a varied and dynamic portfolio.
As a key member of the commercial team, you will be responsible for managing the financial performance of contracts, providing robust cost control, accurate forecasting, and commercial insight to support operational excellence.
This role will support the wider Finance and Commercial teams, working as One City, to deliver the commercial duties required and to support the management of our supply chain.- The Quantity Surveyor will ultimately be accountable for driving value and first class service delivery for our clients, whilst ensuring full compliance with company policy and procedures.-
Key Accountabilities-

Working with Key Stakeholders and Category Managers on the commercial lifecycle of FM contracts, from tender stage through to final account
Monitor project budgets and ensure value for money in service delivery
Work closely with operational teams to identify and mitigate commercial risks
Support procurement activities and subcontractor management
Produce timely and accurate commercial reports

Ensure compliance with contractual obligations and industry regulations
Financial Responsibility
To drive cost savings and deliver against annual targets.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying or a related discipline
- Proven experience in a Quantity Surveying role within Facilities Management or construction
- Comfortable working in a fast-moving, multi-discipline environment
- Excellent numerical and analytical skills with attention to detail
- Commercially astute with strong negotiation and communication skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel
- Full UK driving licence required
