Quantity Surveyor (that can estimate) Salary and package: 50,000 - 65,000 per annum, plus company car or car allowance Location: Huddersfield Full-time, permanent position About the company An established commercial fit-out and shopfitting contractor is looking for a Quantity Surveyor who can also estimate new projects. Founded over 20 years ago, the company delivers interiors across the retail, hospitality and leisure sectors, including restaurants, bars and hotels. Work ranges from small projects up to 50,000 through to main contracts worth 3 million. The Quantity Surveyor will join a business with experienced, directly employed site teams and a strong focus on planning, cost control and site safety. As Quantity Surveyor, you will combine pricing new work with managing the commercial side of live projects. About the role The Quantity Surveyor will be responsible for: Preparing estimates and tender submissions for fit-out and shopfitting projects. Reviewing drawings, specifications and schedules to establish costs. Obtaining and comparing supplier and subcontractor quotations. Managing project budgets, cost reports and forecasts.
